THE OKANAGAN

The beautiful, boozy Okanagan! Think lakes, wine, vineyards, hills, and sunshine. My tip: always stop at the fruit stall on the side of the road (and get that second glass of wine. Obviously.).

To Drink

Caffeinated

Lake Country Coffee

The small, local cafe in Lake Country. Lattes in cups just like on FRIENDS.

Boozy

Barn Owl Brewery

Great beer and a great spot (Kelowna).

to Eat

OKF Grill

A grill right by the lake with no indoor seating. A great, messy burger.

Papitos Pizza

Take away only. Thick(er) crust and oh so good.

O’Rourkes Winery

A winery but it goes underneath eating because their food is AMAZING.

WINERieS & CIDERIES

Wineries

Grey Monk Estate Winery

One of my favourite wineries in the area. A BEAUTIFUL view of the lake and a great restaurant. I’m partial to a red wine and their merlot is good but it’s their crisp whites that really shine.

Arrowleaf Cellars

One of my absolute favourite spots in the region (try their Pinot Noir, I promise). They have picnic tables where you can bring your own snacks and enjoy the view!

Summerhill Pyramid Winery

50th Parallel

The Vibrant Vine Winery

An unexpected and individual winery amongst them. They often have live music on their lawn.

Blind Tiger Vineyards

Honestly, not worth the trip.

Quail’s Gate

Not a huge fan of this one either.

Cideries

Upside Cidery

My favourite is the cherry cider. A great view and a great charcuterie board.

Truck 59 Ciderhouse

Good cider, and they had a food truck with poutine (yum).
