LAKE LOUISE

One step further than Banff, Lake Louise is based around the stunning Lake Louise. One of my favourite spots to go and home of Moraine Lake, the most recognizable spot in Canada (Google Canada, and Moraine Lake is what comes up).

Chateau Lake Louise

The historic and beautiful Chateau Lake Louise. You ocan park near the lake (and the chateau) and do the paved walk around the water. It’s also possible to rent canoes to paddle on the river (note: this is very expensive).

To HIKE

Lake Agnes Tea House

A beautiful spot to hike to from the lake, but it’s quite steep.

Constellation Lake

A quite calm and easy 3 kilometre hike with a lake view at the end!

Columbia Icefields

A must-see for taking in the glaciers. You can either walk to the edge or take an organized trip onto them. There’s also an interpretive centre there to learn a wee bit!
